MRRF 2019 over

I just wrapped up Mid West RepRap Festival and it was a blast.

School Maker Faire District 56 Gurnee

Just did the School Maker Faire at Vikings Middle School in Gurnee, IL. Had a great time. Great turnout for the Fair, an even better turnout for me. Get to talk to a lot of people and more importantly a lot of kids that are interested in technology. Look forward to going back next year.

Elkhorn mini Maker Faire

I just wrapped up the Elkhorn mini Maker Faire and it was great. Going home and making 10 round trips in the pouring rain, not so much fun but you can’t have it all. Thank you to the organizers Eryca and Rebecca and all the volunteers that made this day do smooth. I hope this will be next year.

C3Dt/bd Done

The C3Dt/bd (Big Delta) is done. To set it apart from the rest of the Big Delta Printer out there, this one comes with one special extra feature: The bed is adjustable, not by hand, but by means of macros (thanks to the Duet Wifi from Filastruder.com) . What’s even more interesting is this bed motion uses the same belts and motors as the effector does. I’ll soon write up all the details and some of you might see it in person at MRRF2019. Read all about it here

About Core3d.tech and me

At this point in time I have implemented and designed 4 Printers.

The Laminated 3D printer based on the Prusa I3

The Core3D CoreXY which was designed from the ground up and is still under development (Adding one feature after the other).

The Cantilever 3D Printer which is supposed to be the lower budget printer.

And the Printer you’re probably here for the

C3Dt/c Cantilever printer, featured on Instructables.com

Being the good citizen, I will publish most of my work on site like Instructables.com, GrabCad.com and Thingiverse.com.

Feel free to look around and see what is happening here at Core3D.tech

Quick update on the unexpected success of the C3Dt/c Printer that was featured on Instructables.com. It has over 40,000 visits now and, with it, a lot of requests for purchase and parts.

I’m a hobbyist, not a business. That said this hobby is creating holes in my pocket that do need some patching. I’ve made the printed items available via eBay. Keep in mind that it takes about 30 hours to print all components needed for this printer, so I will start printing those as orders arrive. I currently have available on Ebay, the full set of printed parts needed to create the C3Dt/c and since some have requested it, I also have the bed carriage available as a stand alone piece. You can find these items here: Core3d.Tech on Ebay

Btw, I do not do this for profit, all my designs will become available for personal use. You can also help me filling those holes in my pocket by becoming a Patron at my Patreon account. Check it out here: https://www.patreon.com/Core3d_tech
